ToothPix [CEMAX ICON]

ToothPix software addresses the needs of clinicians in pre-operativediagnosis and evaluation, surgical planning, and treatment evaluation forsubperiosteal and endosseous dental implants. ToothPix software givesthe radiologist and dental practitioner panoramic views of the mandibleand maxilla. It has a user-defined set of 2-D reformats perpendicular tothe panoramic view that best delineates the bone stock and location ofthe mandibular or maxillar medullary and nerve canals. A set of axialimages is optionally included showing the intersection of the user-drawncurve with the images. The panoramic images, orthogonal cuts, and axialimages are all clearly cross-indexed and annotated. The orthogonalcross-sections are always life-size on film, so that they can be compareddirectly to the proposed implant. ToothPix ensures a high level ofsuccess resulting in superior clinical results and greater patientsatisfaction. It easily pre-assesses optimum site selection for theimplant, amount and quality of bone stock available, and relativepositioning to nerve canals.
